Nem Fraggers Wanted

I'm thinking of a project and I need some input from people that are familiar with fragging nems. In particular I'm looking for info on how you frag them, what you do with the fragged pieces, etc. Input from people who've dealt with splitting nems would also probably be useful.

If you've done this more than a couple times could you raise your hand here or PM me.

What kind of new are you going to frag?

you cut them through the center of their mouth then put them in a small container so you can wash away any slime then put them in a a holding tank attached to your system that has decent flow. It takes about a month for them to fully heal.

I use an exacto knife placed in the center of the mouth then I slide the anemone through the knife. flip 180 degrees and repeat. I find that method easiest for me and it gives me the cleanest cut.

They do squirt and you do not want it in your eye where goggles

I have never lost one doing this but I have not done any hard to keep ones either.
