The generator manufacturer and model number are:

    Campbell Hausfeld, GN6021AC.

The Transfer Switch is manufactured by Connecticut Electric and is called: EmerGen Switch, Manual Transfer Switch with model number 6-7500.

Also, I should mention that the generator and switch will be available for pickup as soon as my new generator arrives and is installed.

So $600 for all of that?

    Was that enough to run your 300? I have a 300 w/65 fuge as well, a 180, 54, 46, 29, 15. lol...

Maybe I should invest in my own powerplant lol

    Default Amps

The generator is capable of providing 6000/120 = 50 Amps of current (max steady state, a little more for startup transient current over a short duration).

The switch can handle 15 amps x 6 circuits = 90 amps (wiring and components rated for 100 Amps).

I ran all three 20 amp circuits (not fully loaded: under 15 amps each) in my fishroom which amounts to running my main pump, 5000 BTU window A/C, chiller, heaters, 3 Sedra 9000 skimmer pumps, various powerheads in my frag, freshwater reserve, and refugium tanks, calcium reactor Iwaki 20RLT pump, fuge PC 100W light, frag tank 250 MH light, Danner water change mixing pump, commercial grade exhaust fan, water topoff pump,

AND once circuit that runs garage lights, hot water heater, furnace,

AND one circuit under my tank that runs Octopus controller, 4 Tunze 6100 powerheads, Tunze wavebox, commercial grade exaust fan in my canopy,

AND one circuit that runs lighting in the lower level of my home.

I do not currently run my main tank lighting off of the generator. The best thing is that if the power goes out all I do is start up the generator, then flip the switches for each circuit on the transfer switch from LINE to GEN. No unplugging cables or connection of extension cords is required.
