Ordering a Peacock Mantis shrimp?

Hi!
I was wondering if you guys could try to order a Peacock Mantis Shrimp under 2" or maybe smaller? let me know please!

Finding a peacock under 2" will be very hard to do.

Usually they are seen at 4-5".

You may want to look into a different type of mantis shrimp.


I was selling a 3" G. Smithii, but it is spoken for as of now.

well joel is right... very small specimens of peacock mantis are very hard to find. that guy you bought i ordered as a "small". which makes me wonder how large the "large" is.
i will keep an eye out though... perhaps leave word at the distributors to give me a heads up when they see teeny one or something. but it might be a very long wait.

Quarter size peacock! its that time of year I'm going mantis crazy

Was wondering what you guys fed him? Did you guys feed him emeralds?

he eats emeralds, weird crabs that come in with other stuff, he ABSOLUTELY LOVES feeder shrimp, etc. doesn't really take fish or freeze dried yet.
i accidentally dropped in two dozen shrimp once and he went around grabbing up as many as he could hold... as if he wasn't going to eat again for years! lol
he certainly looks happy as a clam with you!
