MACNA Atlanta rooms selling out

This is crazy, I've been reading/ hearing rooms are getting thin (they're on the second block already).

So I called to book my 2 today and was told there were 9 left.
Someone either seriously underestimated demand or this is going to be a hell of a paaaaaty.

Now chances are they will open up another block but heck why not book now?
They don't charge your card until Sept and you have till Aug to cancel without penalty.

This should be one really cool event!

5? the confrence usually starts friday afternoon and ends sunday afternoon. In the past we've gotten there friday at 2 or 3 (whenever the flight works) and returned Monday. Most visitors leave sunday night.

Just to expand on that a bit for anyone looking to budget time and money;

If you are looking to see the most exhibits and talk to reps without lines etc.
Friday is the least busy.
If your shopping and looking for deals Sunday afternoon during break down is not to be missed.

As someone that went to MACNA in D.C. a few years back, I can attest to the deals on Sunday. We drove down, and my truck looked like the Beverly Hillbillies on the way home to NH!

True... but this is actually my wife's hobby (I do "engineering" and design), I like to drive, and I have no kids. That being said, we plan on flying this year!
