Has anyone tried grafting corals before? Part of me want to give it a try and see what happens

It's a few months grafted

Gradted monti is not actually grafted. It is a naturally bicolor monti.

How do you do it, mechanically? Slice the head + skeleton in half? And then glue? This doesn’t mangle and kill the heads? Would love to see a photo of what that look like during/after. I’d like to try it
