150 DE MH temp probes burnt...why?

Ya know the little sensor inside the bulb..they're toasted.
What would cuase that? Me moving the hood with them fired up?

moving the hood with the bulbs fired up kind of sound like it to me iam no expert but when they r hot and tend to shake/move around better chance of breaking/blowing the bulb

Yup moving the hood seems like the culprit. Have you ever bumped a table lamp that has been on for a few hours. Poof instant burn out when the filament gets joseled.

I wrecked two due to not waiting till they were cooled off.

There was one time a few weeks ago.....oh well!I think we have the answere.
I was time to change them anyhow.
