150 watt hqi light bulbs

I need to replace my bulbs and was checking the ebay and found 2 150 watt 14,000K hqi bulbs made by LSE Inc. They are advertised to be equivalent to SPS, ReefLux and Ushio. Does anyone have any experience using these bulbs? and are they worth it? The two bulbs are at buy now price of $47 with free shipping. Thanks.

I bought these exact bulbs back on 3/08 and to this day have had no problems. Actually will probably buy from them again come this March. They do have a bit of a blueish color, probably because of the 14K rating.

I bought the bulbs, changed out the old ones, and fired up the new ones. They look very good. I hope that they work out over time. They cost $47.00 for two - 150 watt 14k hqi.

Can't go wrong for that price. Mine are still going strong, will change out only because of yearly maintenance.

have you had a chance to check the light output on these? im curiuos if they're putting out the same par readings

I bought the 250w 14k HQI from the same manufacturer lumenosity was dead on kelvin rating is 14500. my SPS and coralvue's actually performed at a lower level there made in hong kong and dont fire as well after time (2 years) but definitly well worth the money. buy the same bulb from the same guy I bought what was supposed to be the same bulb from another person different bulb came and they were pulse start make sure you specify probe start or pulse start

the plusrite 20000k i got a year ago is still going strong and still has nice color ,,i just ordered 2 of the 22000ks and will post how i like them when they get here,,,,the shipping is a bit slow....
