5 feet long tank suggestion.

Hello everyone.
I now have a space that is long enough for a 5 feet tank.
SO I was wondering if there is any production tank with this dimension?

60"L x 24"W x 24"H?

Not custom tank but just already made tank that I can find at the petstore?
I am looking for a Corner flow if possible.

Thanks,
Bao

I have looked at Marineland and Aqueon websites but they don't list tank with those dimensions at all.

I think a 2 of the 29g together would give you that 60" long.

glass cages makes a 60x24x25 - 150 gal tank. I almost bought one myself, but decided I really wanted a 6' tank instead and came across a killer deal :)

well, I have an 18" tank (back to front) now, so I want to go a little deeper. Sadly 6' tank is not an option for me.. I simply don't have the space for it. I can put it in the basement but I don't think I will go down there to see it that often.

The DSA 185 gallons is pretty nice with dimensions of 60"x30"x24". But I don't know of any petstore that would carry them..

Yeah I got my 60x24x24 from glass cages. Although if you're not in a hurry, I definitely see 5ft. tanks for sale on here from time to time.

No, I am not in a hurry at all. There are still spaces to be filled in my current 75.

Jocko, how is the quality of that tank?
Where do they put the overflows?

Absolutely no space for a 6 feet tank.
Sadly, The max is 5 feet.. pretty small house.

6 foot tank means more light you can light a 5 footer with 4 foot lighting. I switched to a 5 foot 200gal from a 6 foot 135gal and I couldn't be happier. The 60" x 30" X 26" is perfect
nice layout front to back with the 30" depth and easy to work on as it is only 26" deep. Fact it is a Euro brace tank helps no center braces at all does hurt at all either.

Well, Thanks everyone for your thought and suggestions.
I think I will stop daydreaming and start saving for that 180 gallons tank: 60"L x 30"W x 24"H.

My tank is built like... the other kind of tank. Seriously I think I could probably survive an aerial bombing inside of it. They'll build it however you want. I was in the same situation where I physically could not fit a 6 foot tank. And I didn't want to wait for one to come up for sale. Which in hindsight was ironic since I didn't get the tank hooked up for over a year after I got it. Hehe.

For my build, they put a single overflow in the back center and two return holes (one on each top corner in the back). They did low iron glass on the front panel and they euro-braced the top so there are no cross pieces. We got a group buy together at the time, so GC drove their truck up to Foxboro. That helped with shipping. I think it was around $800 delivered.

I'm sure you could save plenty of cash if you manage to find one for sale on here at some point in the near future.
