Beautiful 6-inch Fire Tailed Dotty Back looking for a new home. Stunning coloration and very active display fish — a real showpiece in the right tank.

He is healthy and thriving, but has become aggressive toward my smaller wrasses, so I’m looking to rehome him to a more suitable setup.

After many hours of research, Mike is right — I was mistaken. It appears to be a Fire-Tailed Dottyback, not a flasher wrasse.

It’s a striking, great-looking fish. Based on everything I’ve read, they can be quite aggressive. I believe my more aggressive tang kept it in check, but that’s definitely something to be cautious about.

It’s free — but there’s a catch. I won’t let it go to a tank smaller than 120 gallons, and I’ll require a photo of the tank before rehoming.
