65 gallon tank cracked on the bottom

I have a 65 gallon tank the has a 4" hairline crack on the bottom. Is there any way that it can be fixed?

Nope, you probably need to rebuild the tank with a new bottom. IMO the value of your time to do this correctly would far outweigh the cost of just buying a new tank.

Bummer.

Edit, adding;
Are you sure it's cracked? Aqueon 65G tanks are supposed to have tempered bottoms, which if scratched would shatter. Could it be a little line of silicone slop or something like that?

thanks John

Its def a crack I looked at it again and it like 2" then the crack stops then theres another one that about 2" can I glue it and put another tampered glass on top of it?

You could try, but I would definately not try.

The cost of a tank is very little compared to the livestock that goes into it, and the damage to your home if there were a catastrophic failure which would be a concern with this.
