I started 7/15 and haven't stopped since. What's the point of a good build if your not going to show it of so here ya go.
I loved the way my old CL (closed loop) wavemaker made the corals dance but after 6 months of using it the biggest drawback was it never transported any debris food ext... Ultimately I ended up with an excess nutrient problem. I spoke with the engineer at Oceans Motions and to my surprise he talked me out of a 4 way and the Revolutions and instead told me where to drill and face my CL inlets/outlets to get a barrel roll effect. There are 4 1.5" outlets on the left/right sides and 2 1.5" inlets at the top center of the sides. With this setup I get anywhere from 0 - 10,000gph of flow without a single powerhead.
Here's the tank this morning in moonlight mode:

I wanted nothing under the tank this time and went through the wall with 2 1.5" and 2 1" threaded couplings and an 18ga. 20 conductor cable for the lights and future expansion.

Here's the piping/wiring with the cover on the left.

From the display the water overflows into a 75gal. I split into 3 baffled sections, the right is my bubble trap/skimmer compartment roughly 12" wide. The middle is my future frag tank with a 400 watt 14k pendant on an IceCap. The left is my DSB compartment in the front and the drain is in the back. The 75 drains into a 40 Breeder on the bottom with a fuge mud section on the left 10" and the rest will be bare bottom LR and fuge algae section(soon to have 2 10k 65w PC's)
