A feeding inquiry

Hi,
I am going to be going on vacation for 10 days, but I have someone coming over to feed all critters.
To make the process easier for this person, I am looking for opinions on re-freezing rinsed and enriched Mysis shrimp.
Do you think it would be okay (I am thinking it is, but maybe someone has had a different experience)?
Thank you

Would just sacrifice the very little phosphates your going to expose to the tank from not rinsing. Its only ten days. Would think it might get freezer burn if rinsed and re frozen

okay, that makes sense.
Thank you very much Owen386.

I agree. If the cubes are too big for one feeding, cut them up and use a pill container. It saves the housesitter a lot of stress.

I don`t get skeeved out to easy so it does not bother me and my girlfriend does not drink so this is what I did when I went on vacation.

put the portions in shot glasses and just told the person watching my tank to add a little tank water to each shot glass wait till defrosted get fishes attention and pour half into tank wait till thats all eaten and then other half.

That will definitely make it easier for the house sitter, thanks to you both for the input, I have some small glass cups that I can use.

My tank has never had a problem before (and I have tested it for clog possibilities and power outages, so I should be good), but just in case I also have post-its and tape stuck to the glass and sump in several spots on where water levels should be, the house sitter is going to think I am nuts.
