A few refugium questions

any recommendations on sand, I am going to grab some this weekend along with a pump and light to get this fuge completed.

Little update for anyone following; I put a whole 10lb bag of natures ocean aragonite live sand in the return section. It adds up to about 2" thick which should be plenty. Also picked up two pumps a MJ400 and a hydor "pico 100". The mj400 was out flowing the 1/2" bulkhead in a bad way so I settled on the pico. The hydor is actually a pretty cool little pump. It has an adjustable flow rate so I have this thing dialed in perfectly. The pico 100 is rated at 100 gph and I would say I've got it dialed back about halfway so pushing roughly 40-50 gph through the fuge. Also snagged a $6 light fixture/hood and a 6500k compact flourescent bulb. I couldn't find an LED retro bulb in 6500k or I would have went that route for obvious reasons however this CF should do just fine.
