a few SPS polyps gone?

jovreef

I'm the girl
What would make a few single polyps disapear from an acro?

My ORA tort has just a few polyps that look completly gone. The rest are all out, when I make it retract you can still see the polyps in the holes except those few. I'm 99% positive I dont have anything eating it

2 clowns, a 6 line wrasse & a pepperment shrimp (i think, have not seen him in a few weeks though)

I also now have a bunch of astrenia's from armando's tank but found none on the coral... the polyps that are missing are pretty high up on the coral.. not the base. No bite marks, no missing flesh just polyps.

nothing new in the tank.
New lights though from 14k to 10k. I adjusted the lighting time down to 3 hours to start with for a week and now up to 4 hours. Could this be a form of light shock?

It is right at the tips of 3 "nubbins" on the coral... I've never seen them lose a polyp before growing though.

Thanks for the response.
