A quick question.

I always get confused and never remember. My 32 gal biocube's salinity is at 1.020. Is that low salinity or high salinity? I need to write it down. Thanks for the help.

Low salinity . 1.025 is what you are shooting for .

For Fish only it’s fine, for a reef you want to raise it a bit to .023-.026 range and keep it stable.

Ok cool thanks so much. Higher number more salty lol. I will remember somehow. I have a mix of corals and fish so lunchtime I am running home to add some mixed water. Could this be why my candy cane coral looks smaller in size?

Yes, that is pretty low for corals

maybe somebody who knows a lot more than me will chime in but I wouldn't raise it all up in one quick shot probably better to do it over a couple of days.

Yes, I would add regular pre mixed saltwater to replace the evaporation until you hit the target SG. Nothing good happens fast in a reef tank....
