Select low 7.0 and insert probe in solution. Wait for the numbers to stop moving and press select. Repat for high 10.0 solution.

GOT IT.. THANKS!

taking forever to calibrate.. been 30 min to "settle" is this normal?

Nope. Shouldnt be more than 5 mins. Tell me whats taking so long.

its on 7.32 now.. maybe i should shut it off.. plug the probe back in then turn it back on?

You are supposed to hit select when the numbers stop jumping. If they have stopped on 7.32 hit select and go on to the high 10.00. Wait till the numbers stop jumping and hit select and thats it. Hit select when the numbers stop moving every 10 secs or so. If no changed in 10 secs then you hit select. You dont need to wait for it to reach to 7.0 or 10.0. Thats why you are calibrating the probe. To let it know that this is what 7.0 should be and what 10.0 should be. If it went to 7.0 or 10.0 then there wouldnt be a need to calibrate them.
