Acrylic tank question.

Hey guys. I have a 90 gallon acrylic tank with round corners it's really a nice looking tank. I bought it used I got a great deal on it. Only issue is I had to clean a ton of coraline off. I tried not to scratch it but it was impossible not to. Tank is up and running. I'm just wondering if it's even possible at this point to clear some of the scratches up inside or outside the tank?

pain in the neck, lots of work, but, the scratches can be "polished" on an acrylic tank. More work than the tank is worth probably; don't ask me how I figures that out, ...

A better route is to take the algae off by soaking in vinegar to be gin with but you are past that stage.

Figured it was a lot of work guess I'll live with it for now lol not a big deal

Yup you can get the scratches out. It takes time, patience and elbow grease. A lot depends on how deep the scratches are. If they're shallow you can buff them out pretty quick. If deep, then it's a lot of work. Get a Micro Mesh kit.

I think I might have a micro mesh kit somewhere, PM me your info and I will let you know if I find it. On the outside you can use Nouvus 3 step polish, it works

good luck Derek
