Acrylic to PVC bonding help.

After trying to remedy this myself I need help. I have a Calcium reactor that needs the PVC union bonded to the hole in the acrylic reactor body. The current parts look like the pictures attached.

The tolerance between the two parts is quite small. I'm not sure even a piece of paper could fit between these parts. It also appears that these parts were not sanded prior to bonding (previously).

From the research I did it looks like weldOn 40 is the right stuff for the job. Since i haven't fixed this correctly when it was a pin hole leak, now that it's more severe I'd like some help.

Is there someone who has weldon40 and some skill with it that would be willing to help me out? I'll gladly compensate for time and materials, I just don't want to worsen my situation. Thanks for looking.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I think this belongs somewhere between DIY, WTB and reef talk.

I have Weld-On 4052, which will bond PVC to acrylic.. I'd be happy to glue that for you if you brought it out here. (Watertown)

I don't have Weld-On 4052. I've used Weld-On 3 and 16 for acrylic to acrylic. The last fix I did was last weekend to repair a Eroreef Skimmer that was dropped. Are these parts as they are from the manufacturer or are you in the middle of a DIY or mod? Uniseals can work well in a situation of a radius.
I'm in Lowell if it's of any help.

#3 & #16 will make temporary repairs to Acrylic-to-PVC, but will not hold up for any length of time.
