Aiptasia question

This morning I spotted a single aiptasia anemone in one of the cracks in my live rock. I know they can be invasive so I want to try to kill this one before any more get spread throughout the tank (though that may have already happened).
What methods have you found are best for fighting aiptasia?

If remove the rock is an option they I would do that.. Don't estimate these little bugger, either kill it completely down to the foot or they'll be back.

The only time I ever had an aptasia,I killed it with aptasiaX.

I'm not a huge fan of the peppermint shrimp.

They can destroy corals when they go after the food the coral catches.

I would agree with this. While hit or miss, I'd say on a smaller tank its much more hit than miss

If you can't remove whatever its on and its just one I would say a shot at its base with syringe full of boiling water and then suck it up with a baster.

+1 to kalk paste. I eradicated several aiptasia and a couple of majano that way. fill a syringe with paste then fill the crack with paste.
