Algae ID and questions

I've been struggling with this algae for months. I have gotten rid of all the other nuisance algaes I have encountered but this one plagues me.

Does anyone know what it is, and of anything that would eat it.

Here some info on my tank, suggestions for controlling this are welcome.

40G breeder, 20G fuge, 20G sump.
ER 6-1 skimmer
Geo CA reactor

Water changes, 5-10G weekly

Amm, Nitrite, Nitrate - all undetectable
Salinity - 1.026
Alk - 9.6
Ca - 425
Mg~1400
pH - 8.3 day , 8.15 night

I have reduced total photoperiod from 12hrs total w/ 10hrs MH to 8hrs total, w/ 6hrs MH

I feed approximately 1/4 to 1/8 a cube of frozen everyday or every other day.

Fish load:
flameback angel
greenbar goby
bangai cardinal

Recently added a small ~ 2" scopas tang in hopes of it helping out with control (I will get sell/trade this fish as soon as I can get this under control)

Also added a longspine urchin.

Thanks for any help.

I don't know the ID, but my rabbitfish eats it like crazy. I can't grow enough of it. If I can catch him you could boorrow him and the problem would be gone in an hour.

did you post on rc under the calfo form.post the pictures there you may get lucky.

no haven't tried RC yet. I thought about getting a rabbitfish temporarly but i haven't seen any small ones at skiptons lately. This stuff drives me nuts, i try to manually remove it, but any piece that breaks loose just causes it to spread.
