I think it is bryopsis but I am not sure. Does anyone know how to get rid of this type of algae? I had gfo running when it started and have switched to carbon; been doing more than regular water changes. My rodi filters are recently changed and i double checked, my rodi water is good! All my parameters are stable, nitrate, phos, cal, alk, ph, salinity. Skimmers been working fine, refugium chaeto harvested regularly. I have tried adding a little kalkwasser with my top off, which helped me get rid of dynos. Nothing has helped so far! Does anyone have any advice?

I can't tell the algae type from the pix. But, you can try hydrogen peroxide on any algae. If it is bryopsis, slowly raising your magnesium levels to over 1500 ppm and holding it there is what a lot of people try.

+1 to hydrogen peroxide. I've had hair algae hitch hike on frag plugs.

If you can physically remove the rocks or surface with algae and treat or soak them in hydrogen peroxide it works wonders. For small rocks, removing them, soaking them in peroxide, scrubbing them, and returning them is ideal. If the algae is near sensitive corals or livestock, remove the rock and delicately treat algae using peroxide in small dropper or pipettes.
