I’m breaking down my system and selling a long-term, stable community that’s been together 3–4 years. All fish were fully quarantined/medicated before introduction and have been fed 6 times/day ever since. They are colorful, fit, and healthy, and reef-safe in my experience.

Getting tangs and angels to coexist can be tricky—these were introduced together as juveniles, which is why they’ve remained peaceful.

The Fish (16 total)

Tangs
  • Powder Blue Tang (Acanthurus leucosternon)
  • Purple Tang (Zebrasoma xanthurum)
  • White Tail Bristletooth Tang (Ctenochaetus flavicauda)

Angelfish
  • Majestic Angelfish (Pomacanthus navarchus)
  • Regal Angelfish (Pygoplites diacanthus) — my prized fish; healthy and thriving >3 years
  • Bellus Angelfish — Female (Genicanthus bellus)

Triggerfish
  • Blue Throat Trigger — Male & Female pair (Xanthichthys auromarginatus)

Butterfly & Rabbitfish
  • Klein’s Butterflyfish (Chaetodon kleinii) — excellent aiptasia eater
  • One Spot Foxface Rabbitfish (Siganus unimaculatus)

Anthias & Others
  • Bimaculatus Anthias — Male & Female (Pseudanthias bimaculatus)
  • Longnose Hawkfish (Oxycirrhites typus)
  • Pajama Cardinalfish × 3 (Sphaeramia nematoptera)

Bonus: includes ~18 pounds of their favorite food — enough to keep you stocked for a long time; as well as you can have all the live rock.

✅ Health, Behavior & Feeding

  • Quarantine: fully quarantined/medicated prior to introduction (disease-free since).
  • Diet: mixed regimen, fed 6× daily; all are strong eaters.
  • Temperament: stable hierarchy; the tangs and angels coexist peacefully because of simultaneous juvenile introduction

Pricing & Terms

  • $2,300 OBO / Package only
  • Deposit: 25% to hold; balance on pickup.
  • Payments: [Cash/Zelle/Venmo].
  • Pickup: Local pickup only in Attleboro, MA.

Proof & Logistics

  • I can provide videos of the fish eating and/or FaceTime

Thanks for looking — this is a rare chance to get a turn-key, peaceful tang + angel community that’s already proven together, plus enough food to last you ages.

Stunning. Couldn't accommodate them all. Will continue to follow in the event you decide to sell then separately.

Beautiful fish. How large is the tank? Approximate size for each fish?

Thank you. Excellent questions.

180-gallon 6 feet x 2 feet x 2 feet

Interesting fact. They apparently don't like the appearance of a tape measure being held up to the glass. Haha. I did my best ;-)

7" One Spot Foxface
6" Powder Blue Tang
6" Majestic/Blue Girdled Angelfish
5" Purple Tang
5" Blue Throat Triggers (Male/Female)
4.5" Regal Angelfish
4" White Tail Bristletooth Tang
4" Bimaculatus Anthias (Male/Female)
3.5" Bellus Angelfish (Female)
3" Kleins Butterflyfish (Confirmed Aiptasia Eater)
3" Longnose Hawkfish
2" Pajama Cardinalfish (3x)

These are big fish. Thanks

@dz6t Yeah they certainly get fed like kings. I acquired them all at least half the size they are now.

@mlivvy Haha, thanks. You might need to grab the powder along with her. They have a weird thing going. When she poops the powder follows along and well, you know.....

For the sake of the fish the preference would be to tear out all the live rock and get them to their new homes in one event.

pic of the bellus angelfish. I have a male already

dibs! but fun fact.. they are sex changers.
Bellus angelfish are sequential protogynous hermaphrodites>>, meaning they are all born female and can change to a male if the dominant male disappears from their harem or lek group. This sex change involves both a shift in color and the development of male reproductive organs, and can happen relatively quickly, in as little as two weeks. If the new male dies or is removed, the new dominant female can change into a male again.

Quick update: I’m opening this to part-out. I’m contacting everyone who previously inquired in the order received.

To minimize stress on the fish, I’m coordinating same-day pickups for as many as possible:

  • When: Sunday, Sept 14 @ 6:00 PM
  • Where: Attleboro, MA (DM for address)
  • Priority: If multiple buyers want overlapping fish, larger bundles get priority.
  • Bonus: You’ll get several months of their food to help transition to your pellets + live rock for anyone taking a bundle.

Fresh tank video (shot minutes ago—please excuse the dirty glass):

How to claim:

  • DM me your wishlist and pickup availability for Sunday.
  • Please bring insulated coolers/buckets.
