Hi All.

Long time lurker, rare poster. I am moving from Bridgewater, MA. That is where the tank is right now. I am at a phase in my life where I need to take a break from having a tank. I do not even want to sell these anemones really. The house is almost empty except for this tank I just have not had the time to maintain like I did in the past. I have been slowly removing rock, trying to get anemones off the rocks, and etc... Sigh! But here we go. I have to drive back to the house almost daily to feed my 3 clowns in the tank. (Why 3? Please don't ask.. lol.. but they do alright together for seven years now).

I bought these 2 gigs, red Haddoni, and skunks from forum member PinkSkunk back in 2019. I am not sure how many years he had them but you can imagine they have been in our tanks for 15+ years now. I do not want to say you have to be an expert to keep them alive but for the price these creatures cost it really really helps to know what you are doing. I have had the pleasure of having them and now it is someone else's turn. Please please make sure you can handle them. Haddoni are much more forgiving. I do have cipro and other meds that are ridiculously old from PinkSkunk. I will give them to a buyer. I also have other odds and ends laying around I will probably give to someone if they want it. I will basically have all my fish stuff around to doll out to people who might be able to use it. The main tank as seen in the pics I will keep for down the road to use again.

I live about 40 minutes away from Bridgewater, MA now. So if you are interested we will have to coordinate all of this. It helps if you have containers that are appropriately sized. I may want to try to get all buyers to come on the same night because I am almost out of salt and have a 5 gallon bucket of fresh saltwater made next to the tank. So please bear with me. Once a deal is made we can talk on the phone or message here. Cash only please.

I will check this thread and private messages daily until everything is sold.

I have NO coral and have not had coral in this tank for years. No AEFW!!!!

Pics taken with a crappy android phone. I don't run heavy blue lights at all. Not a fan. I have a more 10K look going on. They are all under an ATI 6 bulb 39 watt light setup. I am sad that my tank looks so poorly but I just do not have time anymore. Embarrassed I have to share pics with it looking like crap.

I realize the prices are high but this is the nature of better colored haddoni and stable/healthy gigs that you do not have to treat with cipro on purchase. They are not for everyone.

Yellow Gigantea Anemone (BIG) - $500 OBO (I cannot get it off the rock and I won't try anymore). This bad boy is large if you give it enough space. I do not even feed it directly anymore. This could be a center piece of a tank. This is a pretty great example of a gig having space to do its thing.

Purple Gigantea Anemone (Medium Size) - SOLD. This gig will get bigger if you give it space. I got it off the rock by using a powerhead so this one should be easier to get off the glass. It is right by a return hole and definitely not in it's glory when it used to be on the rock next to the yellow.

Red Haddoni Anemone - SOLD - This carpet is larger then it looks in the pics due to removing rock and getting crowded by the purple Haddoni. Like all carpets if you give it space and feed it for a bit.. it will end up bigger then you want it.

Purple Haddoni Anemone - SOLD. I bought this from a website I cannot even remember the name of. I never directly fed it. Just let it catch the food I fed my fish. Once again crowed by the red. I used to have them spaced out a lot nicer but changing powerhead positions caused them all to go into corners.

Mated Pair of Pink Skunks that do lay eggs. Free to a person who buys a gig. Green Bubble tip anemones are free to a person who buys a gig. If we can get them off the overflow. We can be more aggressive with them since they are almost bullet proof.

Green Haddoni - GONE - free to a person who buys something else. Once again I never fed it directly.

Full tank pic. Only 2 pieces of rock left in the tank. I used to have everything nicely placed and looked darn good.

Only the very large yellow gig is left. Everything else is gone except the free pair of skunk clowns to the person who buys the gig. Also the BTAs if the buyer of the yellow gig wants them.

Big yellow gig price drop by 100. Now 600. Tunze auto top off pump is acting goofy and I would rather not order a replacement. Figures.

This gig is something special for those who appreciate them and it's size. Who is interested? Msg me.

I would estimate during the middle of the day (lights on) it can be up to 16-20 inches wide.

I want it so bad but I’m scared for the safety of my small fish who might not know any better :ROFLMAO:

A lot of people have these gigs in tanks with many fish of all types. Now I cannot claim nothing bad will ever happen but a healthy fish will learn quite quickly to avoid touching the gig. It is sticky but nothing like a mouse sticky glue trap or what have you. They can escape. It is unhealthy fish which will lose the battle.

Plus if you have a pair of clowns with the gig like the two skunks I would like to give away to the owner of this gig they will definitely be on guard. They will shoo away any fish that they do not care for if they are smaller if they get too close or curious.

Lets make a deal jay!

Valid point. I would love to. I do already have a pair of clowns that likes my golf ball sized BTA but I’m sure they’d be much happier in a gig like the how they are in nature haha. I have a wide 200 gal tank that could house the gig perfectly. I’m a little anxious about the gig moving around before it settles though. I do have a lot of frags in here
