ok guys/gals remember to check those RO membranes
been battling cyno for a couple weeks or so now couldnt figure it out as I have 3 of Pats mods in the tank plus my return and I have actually been faithful with 35 gallon water changes weekly well just got hit with a complete " you stupid idiot" checked my RO/DI line and TDS meter to find I am once again at 11 TDS it has only been 2 months since change out but they have been working on the lines again and I didnt realize it

so just another reminder look at the ovious reasons that we dont think about

Your membrane wore out in 2 months? That doesn't sound right. Are you sure it isn't the DI or other stages?

Geez, I still have my original membrane, which is at least three to four
years old, prolly longer. My tds readings are between 1 & 2.

MY TD is 5-6 also and I jsut replaced everything. i HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO FIGURE OUT WHY?

Corwyn, I was just having the same problem and it was because the water was filtering around the DI, not through it (it wasn't sealing on top). Just replaced it today and TDS went from 4-5 to 0.
