Anyone ever painted skimmer black?

My new Reef Octopus BH50 is a sweet as skimmer but last night the wife walked in and was all upset there was a big ugly red and clear thing. I told her the other skimmer took up more room but she said she never noticed it. That got me wondering about painting at least the park of the skimmer you'd see in the tank black. Anyone ever done it? Where'd you get the paint?

When I had the seahorse tank, I sprayed a couple fake coral blue. Used krylon fusion. No I'll effects.

Thanks Michelle... I've done a bit of poking around on the internet and the krylon fusion seems to be where it's at...
