I saw some led lights on eBay that look real simple to install they where called auraled. I emailed them and received a price of 650 to do my new 180. consisting of 60 white 45 blue and 15 red.
This is a link to their ebay for sale items which also shows them on youtube.

I have not really done any research yet on led but am starting to think it might be the way to go.

Ohh yeah, that comes all wirred with sticky backs and 3 power supplies . I have an acrylic hood so it sounds fairly plug and play.

here are the specs they sent me, he also gave me a phone number... I wish I knew what I was looking at ..lol
Thanks Again!

I'm skeptical. Looks a lot like older LED technology that may not perform nearly as well as the newer 3w CREEs, and whatever is next to come....

Remember, if you're shelling out the cash for LEDs you are investing in effiency. Getting a good deal on less efficient LEDs might not be a good deal at all. That said, I have no first hand exp with these so for all I know they are great.

yea those are the lower power 1 watt LED's. Also, the reds will do you almost no good.

thanks for the input guys! Does anyone make a newer version that instals as easy?
