Anyone ship corals overnight?

has anyone has any experience with shiping corals overnight? Where do you get the shiping boxes? How much do the charge? What is the % of corals that make it? Who gives the best prices?

I have shipped corals using the Styrofoam boxes. get some from lfs or use a regular box, get Styrofoam insulation and cut to fit box on all side. this time of year you may need to add ice packs. usually 100% of the corals make shipment but there could always be unforeseen circumstances that may arrive causing the corals death. I use fed ex overnight to ship with, they offer good service so far.

I have shipped corals in a thermos overnite. the most important thing is maintaining the correct temp.

What type of corals are you shipping? I only have experience with softies like zoanthids and mushrooms. As mentioned above, you can use a thermos and I've sent and received via priority 2-3 days, not a single death. With SPS overnight for sure.

I just shipped out last week and have more going out this week with this weather it is a little scarier but I would make sure it is overnite and pack adn send as late as possible usually the UPS store or fed ex stores will ahve smaller boxes around I will save all styro boxes from when I order and use those to ship out in HTH
