I would also be interested to hear about anyone's experiences with this unit, especially whether it can be programmed similar to the programs in a red sea wavemaker pro unit.

I talked to a couple of reefers who have one and one guy is going to get another...he swears by them, and from what he said the customer service is great, if they upgrade the reefkeeper they upgrade yours for free (ie software upgrade)..I am going to get 2 of them for my next set up, and the price 219 (I think) shipped to your door is great too...If you go to www.digitalaquatics.com they have all the info...seems like a great product from the people I have talked to...

When I thought my neptune aquacontroller had died I thought about replacing it with one of these. The only thing it didn't have that I wanted was the ability to turn of my lights as the temperature rose. At least I didn't see anywhere to tell it to do this.
Oh I just remembered the other reason. It doesn't do PH, so I would have had to have bought a seperate ph monitor.

Thanks for the link to the manufacturer site. Looks good. The wavemaker cycles do not include any random settings, but with the right timing for the C cycle versus the A/B cycle, the progression would vary enough. Wish night mode was programmable though, instead of just doubling cycle times. Other than that, looks like an excellent product. May consider purchasing one whenever I move to a larger tank.
