APEX help ?

I am not sure where the issue is - but here is what is working and what is not:

I can get to the Apex thru a web browser.
I can get to the Apex thru the iPhone app as long as I am on my wireless network.
I did create a Dyn.com account.
I did do port forwarding on my wireless router.

What I can't do - is get to the Apex thru the iPhone app if I am on Verizon and not my wireless network ?
I must have done something wrong... need a little help.. not to techy with docs... read way too much and nothing fixed it.
 
Those are the right steps. If you have the static ip then it should work.
 
do you have a computer on your home network that is persistently updating the dyndns record? if not, your persistent IP may have changed or not been updated to begin with. If dyndns is working (ping the url you got when you signed up) then you have an issue with your port forwarding.
 
You have to configure your router to update dyndns with your ip address automatically. Then you can try domainname:apexport to get to your apex.

I have fixed the issue... Thank you all.. it was the port forwarding.
