Aquarium in the Zoom background

I would like to have my zoom background for work be my aquarium. However, anytime I try this, the aquarium is way overexposed and just looks like a bunch of really bright objects. This is what I mean:

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to better capture it? Perhaps a better camera? Thanks!

This is what my iphone takes from roughly the same angle/distance:

Play with the white balance and also use Snapseed

Snapseed is for photo editing after the fact right? Can it be used on my live video feed?
Yes for post processing and no, it can't be used on video. Play with you white balance while in camera mode or adjust your lighting on the tank.

Get a nice long sheet of tinted orange plastic wrap and tape it to the front panel? Hahaa!

I am not fancy with video editing. But if its live and you use a clip on orange filter won’t your face look strange?
