My seahorses had about 3 batches of babies & I believe the 4th should be here within a week or so. I tried to raise them, but I was unsuccessfull because my lack of experience with keeping a rotifer culture & green water.
JustdavidP shared his DiY Kreisel plans & I built one very similar to his.
I am looking for someone to adopt at-least 3 batches of seahorse fry.
I believe that 1 batch should be here within a week & if my seahorses continue to mate like they have, the next batch will arrive 2 or 3 weeks later.
I will loan you the Kreisel for as long as necessary (without the heater since it's my only spare) you will need to get the necessary equipment to raise rotifers, green water & hatch brine shrimp (basically a good air pump & about 5 2liter bottles & everything else like phytoplankton, greenwater, rotifers & brine shrimp eggs etc. etc. etc)
The only thing I would ask from you is that you share your experiences & their growth & health & pictures etc on the BRS forum & also it would be nice if you allow me to adopt 1 once they are mature enough to go in the main tank. (only if you are successfull at raising at least a dozen or more)
If you have experience with rotifers & green water & want to adopt let me know.
note: I have no control on how often my seahorses will do the "hanky panky" so there is no guarantee how soon or when the next batch will arive, but once it arrives it is all yours.
Thanks,
Gilberto
