Ati or cone skimmer

Time to upgrade my skimmer .
Is any one in the club running a ATI bubble master 300 skimmer
OR
A cone skimmer rated for over 435gl .

Any info or first hand experience appreciated .

I have an ATI BM 250,I like it although pumps can have restart issues, I also found it important to keep a constant water level in my sump with a auto topoff unit.

I dont have either of those but I have the Hurricone Cat 2 external with an Askoll Pump on about 425 gallons and it is awesome. Its also on sale at ReefSpecialty for like $649 plus an extra 10% off sale. Just a recomendation, check it out.

I own the MSX1a with the askoll motor (a must).

It will do a pretty heavy bioload at 400g.

It was expensive, but I would buy it again for a system this size
