Hey all,
I’m looking for an alternative solution to my ATO pump issues.
Context:
I’ve read that diaphragm / booster pumps (such as this) have worked for some people, and I’m wondering if anyone has been running these or has any feedback.
Also would love to hear alternative solutions that people are running on their Apex systems.
Again to clarify - I’m aiming to only replace the pump mechanism and not the entire ATO unit. I know Tunze is most reliable but I need the added control, programmability and visibility that comes with the Neptune ATO.
Thanks in advance!!
I’m looking for an alternative solution to my ATO pump issues.
Context:
- I have a fully integrated Neptune systems Apex setup, so switching out of this platform is not in consideration at this time.
- I have a water change / RODI station in the basement where RODI is stored, and both tanks and their standalone sumps are one floor above, across the house.
- I’ve been running 2 of the Apex ATO PMUP2 pumps (1 for each tank) from the RODI barrel in basement. They have sufficient head pressure.
- Every couple years, the PMUP pumps fail and I have to replace them. (I know this is a very common issue). Both are bad currently and I’m hoping to not do a direct replacement this time.
