Piscine Energetics has just let me know that they have decided to ship us a large volume of frozen mysis shrimp for the auction. I have access to a bit of dry ice, and can bring some to the meeting, bit if anyone out there has access to some and could bring some more it would really help out. If we don't have much we may be limited by how much we can divide the mysis shrimp for auction.

So, if you can get dry ice, please bring maybe a salt buckets worth to the auction.

Too bad I don't work at 35 CambridgePark Dr anymore. There was a dry ice cube machine right near my desk. :(

do you think that we will be OK if we leave in one cooler until towards end of meeting? The last batch seemed to keep very well. I still have your good cooler from last auction if we need it.

That's a possibility also, but things are going to be hectic. I'd just like to split everything up immediately after the bidding is done. Otherwise we might have people on a piecemeal basis coming up to get theirs when they have to leave. We also have a LOT more than last year, so there will be a lot to got to a lot of different people.

I won't mind running out for ice once or twice during the day. It will be a lot cheaper.

I lived in Waltham for 15 years and know my way around pretty well

Let me know.

The huge volume of mysis arrived this morning, just as promised. Still nice and frozen. We have to use DRY ice to keep this completely frozen. The other alternative is to have blocks of ice or freezer bricks chilled way below 32 F. Wet ice, if it's at melting temp of 32 F will not work well.

Again, if anyone has access to dry Ice, please bring a buckets worth.
