I noticed something weird today. When I first started my tank, my boss gave me a baby galaxia from his tank. Not a frag...and actual baby that started growing on its own at the other end of his tank. Ever since I've had it it has never opened it's polyps like his mother colony does, and has never sent out sweeper tenticles. I thought maybe it had something to do with differences in our parameters. Well, today he gave me a frag of his mother colony and it look just like his does in my tank. Could it be that the "baby" galaxia just hasn't reach some sort of "maturity" yet? It seems so different.
