I have a 25 gallon Eurobraced acrylic tank. 24"X24"X12" (I am guessing on height may be 14-16?). This morning when I went to do a feeding I noticed that one of the two new platinum clowns I added is MIA. I have a pair of oc clowns that have bonded and the two platinums pretty much stayed on the other side of the tank (opposite corner). There is about a 2 inch rim on the inside of the tank, the platinums normally are right up against the walls too! Could he have gone carpet surfing and one of my cats had a midnight snack? I have noticed some orange ball/ strawberry anemones, but their mouths are only about 1/8th inch wide while the clownfish was about 3/4 inches wide. They do not look engorged or anything. Anyone have this happen before? I have not seen them hide in rocks before since a royal gramma claimed the rubble pile as his own.
The good news is I am moving the tank back to school in about a week so I will be breaking down the rock structures and can look for evidence, but from the top and side views I cannot find anything!
Any suggestions?
