I just picked up a 100 gallon stock tank from tractor supply and want to use it as my sump. I am requesting that you post pictures of your sump room so I can get Ideas for my sump room.

Check out MrX's build here, know he used a 100g stock tank (uncertain of what page though :(

MrX you've given me a few ideas for my sump room. I just need to figure out the entire layout of my room and basement where everything is going. Any other pictures would be greatly appreciated.

You'd have to go through the thread and look. Everything was documented there. I don't have that system any longer so I can't give you any new pictures.

I wish I had MrX systems space. Especially the water change station. Really nice. I still use barrels on wheels for my water changes stored elsewhere.
If you have the room include water change area plumbed in. I built a 6' by 4' closet for my 100 Gallon basement sump and other filtration.
Only space I had near display which was moved upstairs. Still about 15 feet away and up one story.
Needed to enclose for protection (Its a hall way in basement) and to control humidity heat etc. been running about 9 months.

I highly recommend the Pink Fiberglass Foam boards. I even have one under the Rubbermaid sump, on outside walls and replaced the hung ceiling tiles in closet.
Very happy with the change to basement sump display upstairs. Enjoy the tank upstairs much more.

Pictures in this thread. http://www.bostonreefers.org/forums/showthread.php?140554-Ready-for-Live-Stock&highlight=
I have made several changes since. Plan on adding a CA reactor very soon. Maybe I will take some updated picks this weekend.

Just went through the thread. Awesome build! Heart breaking to see you had to shut it down. :(

...stupid auto correct

Google " aquarium basement sump room" or anything to nature, you'll get tons of pics.

Yeah, sucked having to shut it down. Had a blast building it and learning with the kids. Now we're down to just a Red Sea Max C-250... keeps the reefing bug at bay.
