Best Phosphate and Nitrate kits?

I'm seriously considering the vodka dosing regimen. I just can't seem to get rid of hair and bubble algae and my nitrates are seeming to get higher. I do water changes every other week, but that just seems to not be enough. Because of our wrasse, I don't really have a cleanup crew. I currently have Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Nitrate test and Seachem phosphate test. Are these accurate enough or cheap tests? Any suggestions?

If you can make it to the meeting the best Phosphate test is done on the Hanna.

I like my elos kits, in general.

For what it's worth if you have a lot of HA or bubble algae your phosphates might measure low because they are being sucked up by the nuisance algae so even though the test kits read low you still could have a problem...

Ah, yes, my phosphates do read low, but I thought there was an issue there. That's why I'm really trying to get rid of the nuisance algae. HOly Moly, the Hach is expensive! I wonder if I could test it at my lab at work.... Thanks guys!
