Best skimmer placement

Hey there, so my question is where would the skimmer placement work out best. Hanging it on a proflex model 2. Having a fuge in middle chamber with rock rubble and a few smaller rocks and cheato. Now should I hang it in the middle one where the fuge is? Or in the last chamber where my return pump is? TIA

Protein skimmers work best when they are placed in the tank or compartment directly fed from the DT drain. In your application I would hang it in the drain line chamber or fuge chamber but be careful that any cheato or other items the fuge do not obstruct the skimmer.

Ok, I kind of knew the drain line chamber was the best place but there really isn't any way to get it in there. I'll be putting it in the fuge area and make sure the pump doesn't get obstructed. Thanks
