DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY EAT THE POLYPS OFF TOADSTOOL LEATHERS? I ASKED MY GOOD FRIEND FROM CALI WHO HAS A 500 GALLLON REEF AND THAT IS WHAT HE SAID. I'VE HAD IT FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS AND IT'S NOT DYING, BUT I NOTICED THIS HAPPENING FOR A COUPLE WEEKS NOW. I'VE NEVER REALLY BEEN A FAN OF LEATHER CORAL, BUT THIS IS AN EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL FIJI LEATHER WITH NEON GREEN POLYPS. IT'S ABOUT 6" WIDE AND IS DOING WELL BESIDES THE FACT THAT SOMETHING IS DISTURBING IT.

I have had some hermits on top of my toadstool, I wasnt sure what they were doing.

I think I am going to start routinely getting rid of all my big hermits and replacing them with little ones.

I think they are damaging things.

IMO, blue legs are not the culprit. They may be irritating it, but aren't eating it. If it bothers you, trade them out for smaller ones.

Ask before flipping and people are nicer
