Bought led strips for the hood of my rsm 250. How would you attach them?

The sticky part has already given out and they aren't staying up. Glue, reef safe double sided tape? What. Should I use. Wanted to be able to remove them if I need to so I only want to glue them if I can't figure anything else out.

That is a link to my RSM 250 thread. Those LEDS have been there now for a year. Buy at the hardware store exterior double side tape that supports several pounds. Usually is a Red tape. Attach it to the plastic hood using the tape, as much as you can. Apply over dry plastic.

I am happy it worked out. As you can see I have a first layer of double side tape in between the strip and the hood. That is the classical way. But to reinforce I added small pieces of tape on top also (you see the red plastic that covers one of the side ). So far so good.
