This morning the pump on the deltec Calc Reactor is making a weird noise. It's rattling and vibrating and every few seconds makes a hollow sounding noise. I'm sure it didn't do that before. Water is going in and coming out, the media is churning as usually, CO2 is going in as usual, etc.
I have disconnected it to see if the impeller is stuck or dirty, but it's clean. Infact, I only cleaned it a month ago.
The impeller is still magnetic, but I can't remember if it's supposed to spin freely or flip round in sections because of the magnet. No damage to impeller.
Any ideas?
