I've never bred them but I'd see a baby here and there in the sump

Yea, I just purchased some eggs online and going to give it a shot. Noticed the make with what looked like a huge mouth full the other day. After watching him for a bit I noticed small little pebbles in his mouth.

If you can get a breeding net and just scoop him in it without changing tanks you’ll definitely have a good survival rate. Try doing this around day 20 because he’ll be letting them go as they hatch

Would a net or breeding box be better? I feel like a net would allow all the baby brine to seep through the bottom and into the main tank.

It’s up to you, either will have escape routes for bbs as long as the fish can’t get threw. You can always setup a little 5/10 g tank for grow out and not have to worry about food getting away
