BRS 5 Stage

Making my first purchase to get back in to reefing and it will be the BRS 5 stage. I had the 75gpd unit in the past and loved it, was thinking about the 150gpd this time since I planned on buying a float valve for my reservoir anyway. Is there any down side to running double the water volume through the system?

I have the 6 stage 150gpd version, bought black Friday of 2016, and have loved it. No issues, the one issue they say is our membranes may not last as long as the 75gpd unit, but no biggie given the time between membrane changes. Do consider the inline tds meters. They are great for determining effectiveness, replacement times, and reverse flush.
