BTA feeding

Do you have to feed BTA's if you have a clown fish hosting it?

Would it be better for it if you did?

I feed my BTA a few times a month. Some people say once a week. I feed either small shrimp or some silversides. I have some tongs that I spot feed the BTA (place it directly in it's mouth) I've also gone months without feeding the BTA and it's been fine but I still prefer to feed them.

I just squirt some mysis onto mine when I'm feeding the rest of the tank.

Just don't overfeed. started with one, feed it silversides, now have 7...

I feed it a small chunk of a silver side and it looks alot better now.

I was squirting a mixture of mysis and brine shrimp towards it ,but it was looking a littlt rough. Now its looking pretty good . I'm gonna stick with silversides. Thanks everyone.
