Bubble Blaster 2000 skimmer pump...

Anyone have any experience with this pump? I'm contemplating changing pumps on my Octo Extreme 160 because the Sicce 2500 is driving Kim and myself nuts... The other option is an Eheim 1103 which is $70 cheaper than the Bubble Blaster but I've read awesome things about the BB2000...

Any input is greatly appreciated

That's actually the Eheim 1103 and it's the cheapest around so I'm def interested in that bad boy...

Nice A few places I've contacted have recommended the bubble blaster 2000 but it's only around 300 gph and the Sicce 2500 is supposed to be around 600 gph... But the people I've asked know what they're talking about...

Sorry to go a little of topic but what do you dislike about the Sicce? I need to get a new pump for my skimmer and am weighing my options?

The bubble blaster is on my list as well.

I have the buble blaster 2000 on my octopus skimmer it works great.

I have a octopus 160 ext and the Sicce 2500 is really loud. Ill be tagging along on this one as I want to change out my pump as well.

Get the BB2000

I have BB1000 pump on my Octo XP1000-SSS. I love it. No vibrating noise but it makes a slight rumbling sound from all the air it pulls, not that bad. Isn't there a needle wheel upgrade for the Sicce that solves a lot of the problems?

Partial to Tunze myself, Tunze Hydrofoamer Silence Pump 9420.040 would be my recommendation.

i have had the bubble blaster 3000 on my xp cone skimmer set up for 3 months now and it has a vibration i can hear up stairs on the other side of the house. contacted them they sent a new impeller went away for 6 weeks its back now. will go away for a day and then return. it is so loud
