Bubble coral question

A few weeks ago I picked up a green bubble. It was being picked on by a goby and was deflated but still alive. I have it in my display and it seems to be doing well exept the fact that is hasn't inflated as of yet. Is there anything that will help the coral inflate? I have tried spot feeding and it seemed to take a little. I also placed it in a medium light medium flow part of the display as suggested by another reefer.

Any suggestion would be great.

Is it in a lot of flow? They seem to like rather sheltered spots, and not too much light from my experiences.

I have it kinda in a corner of the tank and the flow I would say is low to medium. Light is also on the low side in that section of the display.

Keep an eye on it and check for infection. You might need to treat with antibiotics if it starts to go downhill. The recovery potential for these is quite good FWIW. A while back I obtained one in very bad shape. It slowly recovered in my tank. The tissue regressed into about 10 separate corals. I broke the corals apart (dremel and cutting pliers), and grew up many of the babies, some from bits of tissue the size of the head of a pin. They do grow a lot faster if fed.

Greg what do you feed the Buuble Coral standard Brine or Mysis? And how often is good to encourage growth?

I just wanted to second everything greg has said. I've got a big bubble coral, and its been beat up a couple of times (once it got left overnight in a bucket, and the heater got unpluigged...flesh was sloughing off). Just give it low flow, medium to low light, and good Ca/Alk, and it'll do great.

If it does have soem sort of infection, it may need to be dipped.
