I bought some Leopard Wrasse's from Live aquaria that came in healthy eating everything went perfect and really like them they are in my DT tank now and could not be happier with them and love what they added to the tank
Decided to add some Blue Star Leopards from Live Aquaria and not so lucky. QT tank setup Pods were numerous ordered 3 and they all looked healthy out of the bag but one would only partially bury itself and he was dead in 2 days. The second two after 3-4 days started going after frozen Brine, eating flakes and larger frozen offerings all while hunting the Pods so everything looked good and they were fattening up a bit too until yesterday when one of the two buried itself around noon which was strange but I had switched out the light to LED and did a water change so thought maybe it got spooked. well it came out a bit ago heavy breathing and not really moving other than flexing it's body occasionally. I put it in a hold net as the remaining healthy one started picking on it. I see no signs of disease, it was not heavy breathing before eating was good now I am not sure.
They are such delicate fish I really did not want to treat with meds without symptoms but now I'm debating on dosing Prazi. Liveaquaria has a 14 day replacement policy but I only have the one QT so now what add 2 new fish with a fish that has been in the tank for 3 weeks at that point, that won't go well I bet.
Maybe I should just order leopard wrasses to replace these then I would have 5-6 in my DT and hopefully have a harem but was really hoping for a more diversity.
Not really asking anything just venting, like everything in this hobby so much time and money went into these between the QT setup, building out a separate tank to raise pods, buying seed pods and I had such high hopes for these guys.
Here is the remaining healthy Blue Star

the QT tank, to make sure these guys were healthy I have plenty of macro algae, live sand and rocks

One other addition, very active although and seems to be eating frozen brine so hopefully we have a winner.
