can a sohal tang live in a 125 gallon 6ft tank

do you guys think i could get away with a sohal tang in a 125 with minimal aquasacape ?

or would this be like a hippo in a 55, witch i am not going to do

ne ways stocking suggestion welcome if u disagree with a sohal

I think it could be done. if well fed and the tank isnt over crowded the sohal would be fine in a limited rockwork 125 tank.

I would suggest a powder brown or blue or a white cheek for a 125. not as agressive and mean as the sohal also not as much of a bio-hog on the system.

i have kept all the others except the white cheek tang ,so i wanted to try my hand at one of my favorites, now that i have a bigger tank .
its either sohal or clown tang ,would love either one oh yea and or queen or blue angel top four faves for me hand down .

live aquaria states 180 + for all i have 150 total water volume 125 gallon tank 25=30 gallon sump

they are talking about the area of a 180 not the volume of water in a system.

Any time you have to ask if you can "Get away with something" or provide the bare minimum for something to live it usually isn't a good idea. There are plenty of beautiful fish that will thrive in a 125. Just my 2 cents.
