Can anyone figure out what kind of coral this is? It randomly appeared months ago

Hey guys, any idea of what this green coral (in the middle of the cloves) might be? I got the cloves from a member...unfortunately I can't remember who...and one day a few little tiny green polyp looking things appeared. Over the last few months, they continued to grow & now it is an actual piece of coral. Pretty cool! I'm just wondering what kind of coral it is? Thanks for the help!

it's some sort of hard coral (I didn't think it could be an SPS, since I only had 48 watts until I switched to LED's a few weeks ago), so I don't think it's a neon green finger.
I do have a pretty big one of those neon green fingers, though...that is WAY too big for my little tank!

Kinda looks like a stylo

Looks like a pocillipora to me. They frequently reproduce via polyp bail out so it's not unusual to see them popping up in random places.

Could you nudge it so it retracts it's polyps and then get a pic of it closed up?

I'll try that tonight...I've touched it before & it's a hard skeleton, so not a soft coral for sure

My first thought was a poci. But when I looked around it, I had to change to a softie. Is it soft or hard?

It's a green slimer.

yea, you're definitely looking at some type of SPS...(although it does kinda look like a green slimmer) but until it grows and starts to form it's very hard to tell. Kinda like infants...they all look the same until they grow a little bit LOL.
